Traditional Visas

  • Tourist visas:  This is a different visa to get into a country. This visa can be bought at the airport upon arrival for USD 25 per person at any bank inside the airport. With this visa, you can only go to Egypt for thirty days at a time. So, if you leave Egypt and come back within the time limit, you will have to buy a new one.
  • Multiple visas:  This visa will be given to you by the Egyptian Embassy in your country. This visa is good for six months, and you could enter and leave Egypt as often as possible during that time because it lets you.
  • Transit visas:  Non-Egyptians who plan to stop in Egypt on their way to or from another country can get this visa.

 

Free Visa

The accessible entrance visa is the seal you can get when you arrive that doesn’t cost anything extra. This information will be stamped on your passport, sometimes aticketa will be given for free.

  • For cruise ship passengers who arrive at any of our seaports, like Alexandria or Safaga. It’s a stamp that says they are just visiting for a short time. Since they will leave Egypt on the same cruise ship that brought them there, this stamp will be good for the whole time they are there. If they come by cruise ship and leave by plane, they will need to get several visas from our embassy in their home country before coming to our country.
  • People who come to Sharm El Sheikh on chartered planes will stay in Sharm and won’t leave Sharm El Sheikh or South Sinai until it’s time for them to go back to their home country. If they want to go to Cairo after leaving Sharm El Sheikh, they will have to get a visa at the Sharm El Sheikh airport when they arrive.
  • Malaysian visitors get free visas when they get there. It will be suitable for 15 days.
